What Summanitism is
A new social contract and alignment model that rebalances and revitalises communities, organisations and societies — free to read, discuss with others (also at live Sum Salons), or figure out how you could apply it in your own context with the help of your own AI assistant.
In short: a shared way of relating that people can add to what they already believe.
It starts from free individuals but puts relating at the centre: away from a logic of dominion, toward reciprocity, hope and constructive interdependence. It can sit alongside existing beliefs and ideologies as an extra, shared layer.
New words? The glossary gives each one in a sentence or two.

The six pillars
Six ideas you can test in your own street, team or organisation.
- Natism — We relate to pasts. Roots as foundation, not a cage.
- Nitism — We relate to futures. The courage to bridge and adapt.
- Sumani — Mutual respect, felt when it happens — lived, everyday.
- Hydraulic Society — Wealth, ideas, and culture flow rather than isolate.
- Sumocracy — Governance that rewards building as much as it corrects harm.
- Vitality — Technology, spaces, and routines that nurture real relationships.
Step 3 · a few minutes
Pick one Image of 2040
Imagined scenes of a relational Europe — possible futures, not forecasts. Choose the one that speaks to you and read only that.
- Life and lineage: a demographic rebirth
- Flowing prosperity
- The human-machine partnership
- Bridges, not walls: geopolitics and the coral reef
- Relational governance and justice
- The vitality of connection: physical and mental health
- Peace: a more distributed immune system
